The credit’s crunching, we’re told. So all those £30 and £40 gigs are looking rather unlikely for a lot of us… no matter how passionate we are about them. Supernoodles come first, right? So here’s something to be happy about: a gig from a fantastic soulful Swedish group, Little Dragon, for only £12.50 at London’s Jazz Cafe! This Friday 13th March.

Walking home from work last night with Little Dragon‘s self-titled album (from 2007 – but you’re not too late to catch up…) in my ears, it occurred to me that their album is the absolute perfect accompanyment to one’s introspections, reflections and need-to-get-home-to-eat thoughts. Mind-tickling beats and soulful vocal waves are my anti-credit crunch soundtrack.

Check out their MySpace for a flavour: http://www.myspace.com/yourlittledragon

Here’s a youtube video to one of their songs, “Twice”, (while YouTube’s still working in the UK…! for how long, nobody knows…)

Hosted by the OneTaste bunch, Friday’s set to be a good night.

I’m actually bloody excited.
