Toujours la même voix envoûtante et sensuelle…même si son registre est légèrement plus bas (normal à ..ans!)Toutefois, elle méritait des danseurs un peu plus tight à certains endroits mais bon, c’est quand même assez bien réussi.
    Longue vie Sade :)

Sade is serving it up hard here. Love the song: it’s old school, classic Sade with a modern, hard, drum-driven underbelly.

She looks amazing — this woman is 50+ people?!

I wish the young music ho’s of today understood that is possible to step in/out of the game when your ‘brand’ is as solid and classy as this. Sade knows what she’s doing, and takes all the new era ho’s to grad school.

Sade vids have never been all that smoke and mirrors.. you don’t need all that when you have talent..

  10. Tolita says:

I see she worked with the same director as her previous two videos, interesting. I think the video is good. I’m not sure about the choreography and the silver lamé suit but it does the song justice, not obtrusive, just complementary. It reminds me a bit of the ‘Feel No Pain’ vid minus the nudity ;-) Sade has aged quite a bit more than I (perhaps unfairly) expected but at least she still has that fab body even at 51! And well done to her and Sophie Muller for not going airbrush crazy. A shame Stuart Matthewman and the rest of the band don’t really get a look in but it’s often the way, unfortunately.

‘SOL’ as a song just goes from strength to strength. It’s really one of this year’s anthems and the promo just adds to its appeal.

    Shalom x

I love the song. The video is fabulous, fantastic visuals. Very deep images, and Sade looks and sounds great. A worthy return of a great artist. You go, gurrl. Hope the CD has some happy songs, too.

    Really disappointed with this video.

  16. StillASoldier says:

Don’t know what I was expecting but it really leaves me underwhelmed. Needs to be richer visually. Could have been much tighter, even without budget… Still love the song though.
