Timbaland unleashes Brandy‘s rap alter-ego BRAN’NU on these two cuts that have recently leaked from the upcoming Shock Value 2 album. You know what… Bran’Nu holds her own… but then again, she is spitting next to Timbaland and his mediocre goons.

I’m kinda feeling the track… and Miss Bran’nu is alrite u kna… she can moonlight as rapper if the singing ting ain’t working out….Definitely spits nicer than Timbo, he need to stick to the beats!!
When I say mediocre all I’m referring to is his rapping.
I cannot fault Timbaland on the production at all but I think as a rapper he’s atrocious.
Oh, come on Verse it’s a bit unfair to Timbaland to infer he’s mediocre. I don’t believe he’s ever held himself out to be a master rhymer but his flow suits his production style and is less eeny-miney-mo than that of of some other impresarios that I can recall (I’m looking @you P-Diddy especially in the 90s). Not sure why all the Timba hate these days…he can be a bit of silly-ass sometimes but his innovative contribution to modern music should not even be mooted. Since that’s what he’s paid to do and he mostly does a good job of it, I don’t care too much about the other stuff. He almost single-handedly injected credibility into JT’s solo career via ‘Cry Me A River’ and most definitely is responsible for the re-vamp of Nelly Furtado. Anyhoo, Brandy…wow she’s sounding really thuggish on here, must be that raspy voice hehe. I’m no expert but she holds her own. Plus I always have time to listen to those gorgeous harmonies of hers. Her talent knows no boundary, clearly. I could leave or take ‘Symphony’ but that ‘Meet in the middle’ track is much better than the leaked one featuring Justin T. Interesting.

Although i have no interest in Shock Value 2 WHATSOEVER, Brandy or should i say Bran’Nu goes hard on this track!
I love the way she arrives on the track and doesn’t complicate her flow so she more than likely wrote her own bars.
She actually sounds better than Timbo lol

She can flow. I can’t knock it cus she actually outraps everyone on the tracks. No mean feat I know,now I’m curious to hear some more.
