Top Dawg Ent., home to the storming Californian quartet of Kendrick Lamar, ScHoolboy Q, Ab-Soul and Jay Rock, are giving aspiring emcees the chance to show off their skills and win a feature verse from one of the aforementioned Black Hippies in a newly-launched Feature Contest.
To enter, contestants must download one of the given instrumentals (courtesy of TDE’s in-house beatmakers Digi+Phonics and Barry is ILL), record a verse and a hook only, leaving the last verse free for either K.Dot, ScHoolboy, Ab-Soul or Jay Rock to jump on, and submit your material to Top Dawg Ent’s SoundCloud DropBox by Tuesday, June 5th.
