Illustrator Mike Frederigo ‘SpongeBobs’ Pharrell, Marc Jacobs & Takashi Murakami | Art

Aamir Yaqub January 23, 2012 Art + Design, illustration No Comments

Dutch illustrator Mike Frederiqo has taken some of the figures from the fashion world and morphed them with the Nickleodeon flagship character SpongeBob SquarePants, yielding some rather wonderful results.

In a very fun depiction of their traits, the artist has done a wonderful job of taking huge names like Pharrell Williams and Coco Chanel (both ‘pictured’ above), plus Karl Lagerfeld, Terry Richardson, Marc Jacobs, Louis Vuitton and the Japanese artist Takashi Murakami, and bringing them to playful life via SpongeBob.

Check out the full collection below and keep an eye out for more from this talented artist.
