Rebel artist Kidult’s custom tees in high demand | Style

It’s been over a year since notorious French graffiti artist Kidult first caused a stir in the fashion world by “decorating” the stores of several couture powerhouses. Aiming to bring the dark realities and pasts behind certain firms in the fashion elite to light, Chanel, Christian Louboutin and Yves Saint Laurent have all been targets of Kidult’s artistic daredevilry. Part of a one-man team, Kidult has earned himself a reputation as a valiant menace with a higher purpose — a slight resemblance to the likes of John Doe (Se7en) and Clyde Shelton (Law Abiding Citizen) maybe?

After attacking the fashion industry quite boldly, it seems that Kidult has now joined it by releasing several controversial t-shirts on his personal website. The tees have already been in high demand, and the collaboration between Kidult and The Weeknd’s XO crew on several limited edition shirts distributed at the Canadian crooner’s recent concert in Paris has secured Kidult an even greater following.

With a name that already carries weight and a demand surplus for his creations, it seems only fair to say that this is just the beginning for Kidult and his flamboyant involvement with the fashion industry.
