A Good Day To Die Hard (Dir. John Moore) | Film Trailer

Unsatisfied with shooting his way through four action-packed films, John McClane is back for more in A Good Day to Die Hard, with Russia being the next setting to be fictionally shot up and blown apart at the hands of terrorists.

The upcoming fifth entry in the cult Die Hard series sees the New York cop, played by Bruce Willis, travel to Mother Russia after his estranged son John “Jack” McClane Jr. (played by Spartacus actor Jai Courtney) gets into trouble. Jack, who hasn’t been seen on-screen since he was a child in Die Hard, eventually gets arrested and they both find themselves in the middle of a terrorist plot.

The trailer is full of guns, explosions and other action-centric scenes – thus despite John claiming “Nobody’s gonna die today,” I’m sure a fair number of villains will meet their end.

Directed by John Moore (The Omen, Max Payne), A Good Day to Die Hard is due for release rather appropriately, or inappropriately depending on how you look at it, on February 14th 2013.

Are you excited for this new entry in the series? Do you think the series has already jumped the shark?
