Big Boi has been putting in the work to promote his upcoming album, Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumours (released 11 December) and stopped by ‘Late Night With Jimmy Fallon’ to give a live rendition of “Mama Told Me” along with the Swedish band, Little Dragon.
Little Dragon were in fact originally featured on The Flush produced song, however due to an unfortunate matter of ‘business’, Big Boi roped in Kelly Rowland to assist him on the official single instead. Nevertheless, here he treats to us a kind of ‘this is what you could have had’ performance, with Yukimi Nagano’s vocals complimenting the Outkast rapper’s flow perfectly.
Having Little Dragon feature on the track definitely gives it more of a unique and funky edge. Check out their performance below and look out for Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumours, which drops on Tuesday.
