Cheyenne Davis July 26, 2012 Film, Trailers Comments

With its debut trailer going viral, the film remake of Yann Martel‘s 2001 bestselling fantasy adventure novel Life Of Pi is steady on production. Directed by Oscar winner Ang Lee (Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, Brokeback Mountain), the story is of a zookeeper’s son named Pi (played by new actor Suraj Sharma) who finds himself stranded at sea after a shipwreck.

As Pi floats on a raft with only a tiger to accompany him, we get to watch his journey as he’s stranded for over 227 days. Combining CGI and live-action, the eye-catching clip gives us bold insight into what to expect from the full feature-length film, due in US theaters on November 21st and UK theatres on December 21st.
