Written and directed by Michael J. Bassett (Solomon Kane), Silent Hill: Revelation 3D is the second silver-screen adaptation of the classic, long-running video game series.
Six years in the making, Revelation is the sequel to Christophe Gans‘ scary franchise opener, 2006′s Silent Hill.
The film focuses on teenager Heather Mason, who’s whole existence is called into question on the eve of her 18th birthday after discovering her life has been based on a false identity. Mason is then drawn into an alternate dimension in the haunting town of Silent Hill.
Revelation boasts a strong cast led by 22-year-old Australian actress Adelaide Clemens as Mason, and featuring The Matrix‘s sexy Carrie-Anne Moss, Malcolm McDowell, Radha Mitchell and — in what should leave Game of Thrones fans giddy — House Stark heroes Sean Bean and Kit Harrington.
Silent Hill: Revelation 3D is set for US release on 26 October, with the UK release coming 31 October. Watch the trailer below.
