Sneak Peek: Snoop Dogg talks being old school in ‘The Art of Rap’ [Video]

Max-El June 12, 2012 Film Comments

In the latest clip from the forthcoming The Art of Rap documentary, Ice-T has an O.G.-to-O.G. chat with Snoop Dogg about the first time they met and what it feels like to be “old school.”

Snoop touches on the fact that it’s the old school cats’ responsibility to ensure that the new schoolers are aware of their history — a point that can be applied into any culture, not just Hip-Hop. It’s up to us to keep history alive, and the only way to do that is to pass it on to the next generation.

Every clip that drops makes me even more eager to see this film. I can’t wait ’til June 15th gets here.
