Superman ‘Man of Steel’ alternative trailer voiced by Russell Crowe as Jor-El | Geek Alert

The Man of Steel reboot finally grabbed its red cape, taking to the skies with a superb teaser trailer that hit all the right notes, making sweet music for our ears and putting the beauty in the eyes of each and every single beholder. It was awesome.

Leaked a couple of days ago, the new Superman movie tidbit played out in front of Dark Knight Rises audiences across the world, with Clark Kent’s DC cousin – Bruce Wayne – finally making his grand return to the silver screen over the weekend.

Starring Henry Cavill as Krypton’s favourite son, Russell Crowe as Jor-El, and the beautiful, amazing Amy Adams as reporter extraordinaire – Lois Lane, Man of Steel is directed by 300 and Watchmen filmmaker, Zack Snyder, and is produced by TDKR trilogy auteur, Christopher Nolan.

Due to be released next summer the promotion for Snyder’s Superman reboot is officially in full swing. To mark the impending return of the blue and red spandex clad alien, DC and Warner Bros. have decided to release an alternate teaser trailer for the film, this time narrated by Russell Crowe’s Jor-El, as opposed to Kevin Costner’s Jonathan Kent.
