‘The Dark Knight Rises’ behind-the-scenes featurette [Video]

With the release of the final installment of Christopher Nolan‘s Batman trilogy imminent, Warner Bros. has released a 13-minute featurette which gives us a sneak peak at what to expect when The Dark Knight Rises hits theatres July 20th. Through behind-the-scenes footage of Gotham’s destruction and action scenes galore, we get to see the explosion of the Pittsburgh Steelers’ football stadium as well as a 1,200-person melee on New York’s Wall Street.

We also get a quick insight into the roles played by the characters in a Gotham City set eight years after that of previous film The Dark Night through commentary from key cast members including Christian Bale, Tom Hardy and Anne Hathaway. The promotion has definitely been upped for The Dark Knight Rises and this latest video will definitely increase the already super-high buzz.
