Trailer released for Diddy-produced documentary ‘Undefeated’ [Video]

Undefeated is an Oscar-winning documentary about the struggles of the Manassas Tigers of Memphis, a high school football team chasing a winning season after years of losses. With the help of coach Bill Courtney, the struggling squad is transformed into a team of winners, a group of athletic and academic successes, and an impressive collective of proud, confident men.

Directed by Daniel Lindsay and T.J. Martin, the film has earned rave reviews, with many praising its emotional and heartfelt quality and lauding the documentary for its gripping account of a touching coming-of-age story.

Undefeated landed the 2012 Academy Award for Best Documentary and stunned viewers at the South by Southwest conference in March. The Weinstein Company closed a seven-figure deal for its distribution and remake rights, and Bad Boy mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs has signed on as a producer.
