When Quentin Tarantino unveiled the final trailer for his forthcoming film Django Unchained yesterday, to my greatest surprise it featured music from Rick Ross. Whilst MMG’s Bawse is undoubtedly one of the rap game’s most successful method actors, let’s put it this way, I didn’t exactly see him and Tarantino as a natural match.

Anyway, today we have the full track from the trailer, a death dealing slice of hip hop entitled “100 Black Coffins” helmed by Rozay and produced by Jamie Foxx, who also stars in the historical action epic alongside Leonardo Di Caprio and Samuel L. Jackson. The film tells the story of a slave-turned-bounty hunter setting to rescue his wife from a Mississippi plantation, and here we get the full bounty hunter sound, as Foxx serves up a truly epic, Western influenced instrumental for Ross to murder.

Django Unchained drops on Christmas Day. Have a listen to “100 Black Coffins” below and scroll down for the new trailer.
