Composed by the incredible Hans Zimmer, The Dark Knight Rises’ original motion picture soundtrack is now available as a full album stream.
Having worked his orchestral magic on films like Rain Man, True Romance, Gladiator and Inception, the German composer has established himself as a musical powerhouse of the film industry, scoring films and producing soundtracks over a thirty year career that has seen the highly respected 54 year old rack up several awards and accolades.
Teaming up with Christopher Nolan to work on the British director’s Batman films, Zimmer combined forces with the Memento director once more, creating the ominous and stunning soundscape of the upcoming Gotham epic, The Dark Knight Rises.
Brooding, expansive and dramatic, Zimmer’s work is just as cinematic as the action on the big screen, complimenting Nolan’s eye with a terrific score fit for the grand closing of a record-breaking franchise.
