The Great Gatsby (starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Tobey Maguire) | Film Trailer

The second trailer for the upcoming adaptation of great american novel The Great Gatsby has been released, and shows off more of the setting and story. Focusing more on the eponymous character Jay Gatsby, played by Leonardo Di Caprio, the trailer highlights his personal story, from humble beginnings to the millionaire that he becomes.

More of Tobey Maguire and Carey Mulligan‘s roles as the WWI vet Nick Carraway and attractive damsel Daisy Buchanan are shown off, and the trailer, set to Jay-Z and Kanye West‘s gold single “No Church in the Wild,” gives us a sense of just how the lives of all three characters will intertwine within the metropolitan setting of New York City. Legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan as shady character Mayer Wolfshiem also makes an appearance.

Directed by Baz Luhrmann (Moulin Rouge, Romeo & Juliet), the film also stars Joel Edgarton, Isla Fisher, Jason Clarke, Adelaide Clemens, Elizabeth Debicki, Brendan Maclean, Callan MacAuliffe, Stephen James King and Max Cullen.
