The very first trailer for the upcoming DC Universe animated movie Batman: Year One the eagerly anticipated animated adaptation of the legendary Frank Miller comic book story arc of the same name has just hit the web.
According to the good folk at Splash Page who premiered the trailer not only will Batman: Year One focus on Bruce Wayne’s early beginnings as the Dark Knight it also gives us insight on many of the surrounding “Batman” characters, including a younger commissioner to be Jim Gordon, his partner Sarah Essen, and the Selina Kyle aka Carwoman who will also feature on the DVD in her very own animated short, as we reported yesterday.

Batman: Year One will be available October 18, 2011 from Warner Home Video on Blu-ray, DVD, OnDemand and for download.
