A$AP Rocky performs ‘Goldie’ live on ‘Late Night with Jimmy Fallon’ | TV Catch-Up

Max-El August 22, 2012 TV Comments

Tuesday night marked A$AP Rocky‘s first late-night television appearance, as Dat PMF took the stage on NBC’s Late Night with Jimmy Fallon to treat a national audience to his extraordinary swag during a live rendition of “Goldie.”

Decked in white from the neck to the ankles and backed by the mighty Roots crew, Rocky was cool, calm and collected as he breezed through his Hit-Boy-produced banger, delivering his confident bars as if there weren’t a million or so people watching. Young Rakim has come a long way.

With the high number of rap acts that it books, Fallon‘s show is almost like the new Arsenio. And since Arsenio himself is making a return to late night next year, let’s hope that the number of MCs getting that mainstream light doubles.

Watch Rocky do his thing below.
