Admiral General Aladeen (aka Sacha Baron Cohen) appears on Australian morning show [Video]

Max-El May 2, 2012 Comedy, TV Comments

Just last week, we reminded you of how crazy Sacha Baron Cohen is by showing you the opening scene of his upcoming film The Dictator. Well, the talented character actor appeared live and in full Admiral General Aladeen mode earlier on Australian morning show Today and it was quite a sight.

If you’ve never seen Cohen go all the way into character (check out Borat’s 2006 appearance on CNN), you’ve seriously been depriving yourself. In this clip, Cohen — excuse me, Admiral General Aladeen — bombards the Today hosts with an array of risqué quips and off-color jokes, gives an update on the goings-on in his homeland of Wadiyah, and even manages to squeeze in a few words about the film. And those virgin guards of his don’t move an inch or crack a single smile.

This guy is nothing if not dedicated. The Dictator hits theatres May 16.
