There have been weeks of anticipation leading up to this weekend’s Saturday Night Live music appearance by Gotye, and last night (Saturday14th) the Belgian-Australian singer delivered stellar performances alongside singer Kimbra.
Gotye took to stage with a full live band giving a heartfelt performance of the infectious number 1 hit, “Somebody That I Used To Know,” and was joined on stage half way through by Kimbra. The dynamic between the two worked perfectly on stage, bringing the song to a new level.
Gotye also performed his follow up single, “Eyes Wide Open,” and even gave a go at playing the drums for the song’s heavy pulsing beat, as well as singing faultlessly. Check out both performances below.
