Hip-Hop POV: Episode 6 | TV Catch-Up

Last night was the finale of the inaugural season of MTV’s new show, Hip-Hop POV.

Like they always do, the show’s starting five of Devi Dev, Bu Thiam, Charlamagne the God, Amanda Diva and Sowmya Krishnamurthy chopped it up about the game’s goings-on as well as discussing the prerecorded interviews with ScHoolboy Q and Waka Flocka. Grand Hustle boss T.I. was the in-studio guest and discussed his upcoming album Trouble Man, the sniping directed at him from Harlem neophyte Azaelia Banks (“It don’t reach me. I’m up too high.“), his feelings about the resurgence of the Atlanta rap scene, and gave us the scoop on Iggy Azalea‘s label situation. Party rockers Travis Porter closed the episode with a performance of their latest single “Aww Yeah.”
