Katt Williams returns to the stage with ‘Kattpacalypse’ | TV News

Max-El August 21, 2012 Comedy, TV Comments

After a couple years away from TV and film screens (and having endured a few not-so-positive interactions with law enforcement), flamboyant and outspoken comedian Katt Williams is set to make his triumphant return with the release of his latest stand-up spectacular, Kattpacalypse.

The hour-long special was filmed at L.A.’s Nokia Theater on New Year’s Eve and features Pimpin’ in vintage form, giving his standard profane and politically incorrect takes on topics from around the worlds of news, entertainment and general pop culture.

From the official press release:

Williams takes to the stage like a championship boxer, riffing on everything from Doomsday, how President Obama gets rid of terrorists, “stepping-stone” relationships, N.A.S.A., Mitt Romney, not “clearing” Herman Cain, the recession, and the Michael Jackson murder trial.

This pimp is no longer in distress, and he’s finally ready to get back to the funny.

Kattpacalypse premieres August 25th at 10pm EST on Showtime. Check out a short clip of the show below.
