Grammy-winning R&B and soul singer Mary J. Blige stops by Chelsea Lately to discuss Rock Of Ages, her first major film role in which she stars alongside Alec Baldwin, Catherine Zeta Jones, Tom Cruise and Russell Brand.
This being the first big film role of Blige’s career, the singer discusses her experience on the set and what it was like working with the star-studded cast.
“Of course I had to go and get a coach because to stand next to Tom and Catherine and all those big real actors and actresses, I had to get to work,” she told host Chelsea Handler.
The film adaption of the Rock Of Ages musical, directed by Adam Shankman, will hit US screens on June 15th.
