Having turned his attention to the mic this year, collaborating with the likes of A$AP Rocky and Eve as he preps his first solo project in five years with Haute Living, Swizz Beatz was the latest name to take to BET’s 106 & Park‘s new – and approved – segment, “The Backroom”, to kick a freestyle. I guess he reminded us in the intro that he’s a producer and DJ by trade for a reason – this wasn’t that good. Stick to the hooks, eh Swizz?
