Following the tragic death of Whitney Houston this past February, her family has been ever-present in the headlines. In this day and age the next natural step would, obviously, be for the family to star in their own reality TV show.

It has recently been confirmed that a fly-on-the-wall programme entitled The Houston Family Chronicles, will feature Houston’s 20-year-old daughter Bobbi Kristina, mum Cissy, brother Gary, sister-in-law and manager Pat Houston as well as Pat’s daughter Rayah and her cousin Dionne Warwick.

The show will air on Lifetime, and Rob Sharenow, the network’s executive vice president of programming, recently spoke on the forthcoming series: “The tragic loss of Whitney Houston left a void in the hearts of people all over the world, but certainly none more so than her beloved family.”

“In this series, the multi-generations of the Houston family will bravely reveal their lives as they bond together to heal, love, and grow,” he added.

It is currently unknown when the show will air. Will you be tuning in when it does?
