Big Sean reveals moments of self-doubt on ‘Fear’ [Video]

Sam Gould November 18, 2012 Hip Hop, Web Series Comments

It’s rare that you see a rapper open a video documentary with an Aristotle quote, but then it’s rare that you see a rapper (who isn’t Drake) open up about his fears.

Big Sean is a rapper who’s willing to stand out from the crowd. The GOOD Music star is a firm believer that “He who has overcome his fears will truly be free” and in the video below, which shows Sean on tour and back-stage, he describes overcoming his fear of failure. The rapper concedes that his first album Finally Famous didn’t necessarily put him where he wanted to be, but says that he felt comfortable about his recent mixtape Detroit and ends the clip by declaring his unshakeable faith, “I’m not afraid of my fears”.
