Watch the new BioShock Infinite trailer | Geek Alert

BioShock Infinite continues building up the hype with a brand new trailer showcasing more of its unconventional gameplay. The game is the next step in the developer Irrational Games‘ Bioshock series, which began with the critically acclaimed BioShock (which sold over 4 million units worldwide) and its well received sequel, BioShock 2.

Whereas the first two games were set in the underwater city of Rapture and are directly related, Infinite takes players before that time period and out of that setting to the city of Columbia, which exists in the sky. Joined by a young woman named Elizabeth after rescuing her, the game promises new forms of gameplay which build upon its predecessors, with a new item called a Sky-Hook and Elizabeth able to help you in combat being some of the new additions.

BioShock Infinite will be released on February 26^th. 2013.
