Bee Gees singer Robin Gibb out of coma | News

Following his surgery a few weeks ago, Robin Gibb the 62 year-old Bee Gees singer, who is suffering colon and liver cancer, fell into a coma last week after contracting pneumonia leading to fears that that the legendary artist didn’t have long left to live.

To the relief of fans worldwide, Mr Gibb is now out of his coma and is now able to nod and communicate with with his family according to Doug Wright, his spokesman.
Robin’s wife Dwina, daughter, two sons and other relatives who have been at the singer’s hospital bedside in West London have been keeping him in good spirits by singing to him, and Mrs Gibb also said the he as moved to tears when she played him Roy Orbison’s “Crying By”.

Our thoughts, prayers and best wishes go out to the Gibb family and we wish him a speedy recovery.
