Beyoncé’s reported 1st interview after childbirth “Completely made up” says rep | Music News

Following the birth of her first child Blue Ivy Carter, the public has been hungrily waiting for the first words from the global icon Beyonce Knowles about life as a new mother (we got JAY Z’s reaction to the birth of his first child on the song “Glory”), so when British gossip mag Star reported that they had the first interview from the King B yesterday, Beyonce fans around the world lapped the story up ravenously.

But… according to Access Hollywood, Beyonce’s rep says she did NOT give an interview to the British magazine, calling the story “Completely made up”.

Star magazine’s editor refutes the claims saying “It is not made up or fictitious at all. We bought the interview from a reporter in the U.S. who conducted the interview with Beyonce before the birth. The reporter then obtained the ‘top-up’ info after the birth, which we believe to have been signed off by a girl on her LSM team.”

I personally didn’t believe that Beyonce would ever give their first post birth interview to the Star… I mean if it was CNN or Oprah then hell yeah. But hey I’ll reserve my comments for when we get an official press release on the story.
