Ever since superstar producer/rapper Kanye West‘s now infamous showing of his first collection at Autumn Fashion Week in Paris last year, you wouldn’t be wrong to wonder what happened to any of the pieces shown. It seemed like they disappeared right after the runway… that is until now. Kanye will reportedly be selling two of his shoe designs in Paris boutique, Colette.
No stranger to having sold out shoe designs with his Air Yeezy designs for Nike, Kanye is hoping to have similar success with his women’s shoe collaboration with high fashion designer Giuseppe Zanotti. Although Kanye’s Paris collection came under heavy criticism, the innovative shoe designs were complimented pretty much across the board.
The two designs being sold will be exclusively available at Colette in Paris, and will include an off white calf leather pair with embroidered pearls, coming in at $5,888, or the less bank breaking option of a black, velvet leather strappy pair for $930. No date for release has yet been given, but with Kanye due to show his next collection in Paris this week we’re sure the release will be imminent.
