Speaking with Angie Martinez on Hot 97, Lil Kim addresses her issues with Nicki Minaj, mimicking the Young Money emcee before accusing her of wanting to be the only female rapper out there, ignoring opportunities to clear the air with Kim at events they’ve both attended, and laying down her problem with Diddy‘s lack of loyalty towards Lil Kim amidst Nicki’s “reckless” talk on and off record.
See below for excerpts of the Queen Bee’s comments on Minaj and Diddy.
Lil Kim on Nicki Minaj;
“I would do a song with her… for the right price. I’m a hustler. 7 million? Maybe.”
“The girl is not as stupid as people think that she is… She know exactly what she’s doing to make people feel sorry for her; that’s her thing. She’s a very contradicting creature, and I noticed that about her…”
“God made it so that I can have my way back in and really represent the right way in this game for the females… She wanted to be the only one out there. Just because I been in the game for a minute don’t mean it’s over for me, baby. At the end of the day, I’m not going nowhere…”
“We could be in the game together. We could make money together. She just want to be out there by herself.
Lil Kim on Diddy;
“Where I’m at with Puffy is I’m sick of it; I’m sick of him not being loyal to at least one person. That’s where I’m at with him. Be loyal to one person for, please. Show me one person and then I can maybe open my arms back up to you… because I know it’s in there, I think. I just want to see him do that. I feel like, out of anybody, he should have done that with me. Because he knows I woulda rolled to the end with him.
“He just over there for the money for the time being.. until the next hot thing comes and he can jump ship. I get Puff, he is hustle brother man…”
“You’re over there doing what you’re doing but you see this going down. How dare you. You see her trying to look like me, act like me, be like me – she’s only over there with you ’cause I was over there with you, that’s so obvious – you got this girl throwing her shots or whatever – and you ain’t saying nothing?”
“We have a really long, strong past history. At this point, my attitude with Puffy is: whatever. He can’t ask me for nothing no more, it ain’t no family thing – he come to me, he better come correct because it’s all about that paper.”
