The emcee recently sat down with American talk show host Tavis Smiley and spoke about how he contemplated suicide over the problems with his record label which contributed to the delay of the album release, as well as dealing with his depression from the passing of his father. You can watch the video here.
With all that he’s been through in the past few years, the success of Lasers has been a long time coming and is well deserved. Nice one Lupe.
