Mac Miller donates $50k to Make-A-Wish Foundation in Pittsburgh [Video]

Toney December 10, 2011 Arts News, Society Comments

Prior to his album dropping Mac Miller promised that if he’d reached $50,000 pre-orders of his album Blue Slide Park that he would donate $50,000 to Make-A-Wish Foundation, a charity which brings “hope, strength and joy to children around the world with life-threatening medical conditions” through granting their wishes.

Even though Mac didn’t pre-sale 50,000 copies, the album still sold more than 50,000k copies. So while doing part one of his shows of in his hometown of Pittsburgh, PA, Mac made good on his promise by signing a $50,000 check to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Nice to see such a great act of charity from this young teen.
