The Mobb Deep boys have come back strong with their Black Cocaine EP and are not wasting take with their takeover on Infamous Records, their new home via Sony Red. They’ve announced that, in the first half of the new year they will drop a new album which will be their ninth studio album in their nine year career.
We can also look forward to a solo offering from Prodigy [who plans on finishing his book in 2012 too] and an album with longtime collaborator Alchemist, who has produced records on all of their albums so far. Good times for fans of the IMD.
The rap duo’s first joint offering in six years, Black Cocaine hit iTunes on November 21st and is available from iTunes.
