Behold the final tracklisting for Ski Beatz’ 24 Hour Karate School album, due for release on September 21st via Blu Roc Records. You’ll note all expected tracks featuring Mos Def have been removed from the album, which was recorded entirely at Damon Dash‘s DD172 base of operations in new York.
“Mos Def wouldn’t clear his songs in time,” Ski explained on Twitter, adding, “I think I’m going to make them avalible [sic] for free downloads.”
What a shame. Regardless, I anticipate quality album. As exhibited on Curren$y‘s recent Pilot Talk release, Ski has a wonderful way of making the Beatz speak.

No complaints cuz this is the way it is, however, I know for a fact, I have been craving for this album release for months since I heard “TAXI” by SKibeats, Mos Def, and Whosane. It’s a bittersweet feeling that “24 hour Karate School” will not have Boogyman’s juicy jams on the cd(cuz my bad, i still cherish cds, and was actually gon save and buy this one, but now iounno, it’s still got a flame lineup n all, pero it’s less of a priority, cuz of my limited funding fro certain criteria) BUT, o wat?!?, SkiBeats might put them out fuh free?? O please, please do, and thank you kindly for what would be a beautiful blessing in my life, as well as those around me. O how good music helps me be gratefully happy:) Thank YAH, thank ya.
