Yasiin Bey will be heading to London to play a one-off show at the HMV Forum on Saturday, 26th May. It will mark the Brooklyn-born emcee’s, formerly known as Mos Def, first appearance in the UK capital since May 10th last year, where he performed alongside his long-time partner in rhyme and other half of the Black Star duo Talib Kweli.
Bey has kept his future musical plans under wrap, but having released both “Fix Up” and “You Already Knew“, a Black Star comeback project (tentatively titled Black Star Aretha) has been hinted at. He has also recently been snapped in the studio with Jadakiss, Busta Rhymes, Fat Joe, DJ Khaled and his G.O.O.D. Music label mate Kanye West.
