With his live dates in Amsterdam and Paris already announced, we all hoped/strongly suspected this was coming. Still, my eyes almost popped out of my head on seeing it officially written in internet ink: D’Angelo. Brixton Academy, London. February 3, 2012.
Currently working on his long awaited third album following his classic debut Brown Sugar (1995) and Grammy Winning sophomore opus Voodoo (2000), the enigmatic Soul star is to perform a few live dates on European shores in early 2012; hitting Le Zenith in Paris, France on Januarym, then headlining Amsterdam venue Paradiso on January 31, before heading over to London for a show at the O2 Academy in Brixton on February 3.
Tickets for London go on-sale Friday, November 25 at 9am via Ticketweb.
