The Heatwave bringing ‘Showtime!’ stage show to Birmingham | Events

Forward-thinking bashment sound system The Heatwave will be taking their “Showtime” stage show to Birmingham as part of the 2012 BASS Festival celebrating “British Arts and Street Sounds.” Following up the London show will be extremely hard, however the lineup suggests that an exciting night lays ahead.

The Birmingham lineup boasts well-seasoned UK reggae/dancehall star Gappy Ranks, ferocious-spitting grime legend Durrty Goodz, ’90s UK ragga and jungle veteran Top Cat (UK garage fans will know him from Double 99′s “RIP Groove“) and UK hip-hop legend Rodney P, as well as a few of Birmingham’s very own including fierce lyricist RoxXxan, mini dynamite Lady Leshurr and Serocee, who is currently associated with BBC Radio 1 DJ Toddla T‘s Sound System.
