No stranger to political topics, discussions, controversial statements and politics-based chat shows, Nasir Jones spoke with Michael Eric Dyson on MSNBC’s long-running news commentary programme The Ed Show.

Still championing his recently released, critically-acclaimed tenth solo album Life Is Good, the revered emcee discussed how he has been able to sustain an 18-year career, his lyrical content, why he decided to be so open about the fallout of his marriage to Kelis on the album, and breathing life back into Hip-Hop.
