Following in the footsteps of celebrities like Aretha Franklin, Ciara, Serena Williams, Randy Jackson and Timbaland, just to mention a few, Kelly Rowland will be promoting and celebrating tennis in a new initiative to raise awareness of the sport.
Rowland has been tapped as the new face of the Women’s Tennis Association‘s “Strong Is Beautiful” campaign and has filmed a spot talking about fearlessness, faith and how, by encouraging a generation of new fans to support women’s tennis, the sport will reach and break all opposing boundaries.
The campaign is set to extend into 2013 via all print and online platforms.
