50 Cent performs “My Life” at Gamboa vs Feranos fight [Video]

Whilst Manny Pacquio‘s sixth-round KO by Juan Manuel Marquez might have been the talk of the sporting world (8th December) last night, there was more than one fight in Vegas on Saturday, and the undercard bout between Yuriorkis Gamboa and Michael Farenas opened in quite spectacular fashion.

Before the pair got in the ring, the ever-entrepreneurial 50 Cent was given the task of handling Gamboa’s ring entrance, and in true Curtis style, he went for the grand opening. Fiddy literally descended from the roof of Vegas’ MGM Grand Arena as he performed his latest single “My Life”, rapping first in the air and then from the ring, in a way that managed to combine his debut as a boxing promoter with some publicity for his upcoming album Street King Immortal.

Fiddy’s young charge went on to triumph on points after the contest went the whole distance. Fif will be relieved; he recently paid a cool $1 million dollars for a contract to promote Gamboa. Watch his performance below:
