50 Cent x Adam Levine perform “My Life” live on The Voice [Video]

50 Cent and Adam Levine brought the house down last night with a performance of their new collaboration “My Life” live on NBC’s singing competition The Voice.

Backed by the live band, Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine delivered his chorus with passion, whilst Fif dropped his difficult verses clearly, if a little un-energetically. As I said yesterday when I heard the radio rip of this track, his rhyme schemes are the most complex and his lyrics the most personal we’ve heard from him in a while, and it’s good to see. On the other hand, it’s a shame that co-collaborator Eminem, who also appears on the single, was unable to join Curtis and Adam on stage. An energetic performance from Marshall could have turned this up an extra notch.

Watch their performance below and buy “My Life” here. We should have the official video for the track, the third single from 50′s Street King Immortal LP, very soon.
