M. Gosho Oakes May 4, 2011 Music Comments

Having witnessed AKS put it down onstage at Queen Of Hoxton, East London last month for his The Bus Stop EP launch party, it’s a fond experience watching it back in this video recap flanked by a solid co-sign from Roc Nation’s Young Guru. Spliced with snippets of opening acts Wilson, Kay Young , Shakka and Less Is More Music labelmate Jay The Exodus, the video captures elements of the Deptford hailing headliner’s performance of EP cuts “The Monologue,” “Blame It On Her,” “House Called Home” and the emotional title track, “The Bus Stop.”

Good times, strong beginnings; get a taste of the night below along with some more pics – and cop that EP.
