A veritable constellation of stage, sport and screen stars joined forces Friday night for this year’s Stand Up 2 Cancer telethon, an event whose aim is to increase awareness of the disease and raise funds to aid in the fight against it. Alicia Keys was among those who lent their celebrity and talent to the cause, and the multiple Grammy-winning songstress delivered a powerful, piano-backed rendition of “Not Even The King” for the millions of viewers watching simultaneously on all four major US broadcast networks and a dozen cable channels.
