Asher Roth performs “Common Knowledge” in NYC [Video]

Pennsylvania native Asher Roth lit up the stage of New York City’s Gramercy Theatre recently, running through a series of fan favorites while backed by an impressive live band.

Pleasing the crowd with tracks such as his anthemic “I Love College” and “Toni Braxton” from his Seared Foie Gras with Quince and Cranberry, Asher built the energy up to a frenzy before jumping into material from his latest mixtape, Pabst & Jazz. The Def Jam signee demonstrates to a live crowd the power of uncommonly adept wordplay in the form of his Blended Babies-produced jam “Common Knowledge.” The live drums seem to add an extra bit of cadence to the sharp rhymes.
