The 2012 BET Black Girls Rock special was a star-studded event, with performances from the likes of Brandy, Keyshia Cole, Ciara, Missy Elliott, India Arie, Eric Benet, Anthony Hamilton, Luke James, and SWV.
Hosted by actress Tracee Ellis Ross and political activistRegina King, the event honors the achievements of exceptional black women throughout history, with the intent that they will serve to inspire those who follow in their footsteps.
