Last year, Kendrick Lamar, let alone any of the Black Hippy crew, weren’t even on the bill for Rock The Bells, despite Jay Rock‘s debut album, Follow Me Home, in stores, and K. Dot’s hugely-acclaimed Section.80 project in circulation, but for 2012, the West Coast quartet blessed the main stage on the evening of the festival’s opening night last night (August 18th).
While Kendrick, ScHoolboy Q, Ab-Soul and Jay treated the crowd to their individual hits, the gang united for a HiiiPoWer-ed performance of their Black Hippy remix to Solo’s “Black Lip Bastard” cut. Enjoy the fooage below.
