Watch footage from the night Captain Murphy revealed himself to be Flying Lotus at Airline’s Low End Theory night in Los Angeles.
Wearing a sequinned golden cape, his face-obscured until the end, Murphy performed a series of tracks from his Duality mixtape, before Earl Sweatshirt joined him on stage for “Between Friends,” the FlyLo-produced track on which the mystery rapper first appeared.
There were cult-like levels of excitement before the night commenced, and when these two paired up to perform, the energy levels reached new and frenetic heights.
