R&B singer/songwriter CJ Hilton joins ThisisRnB TV for their Rhythm & Blues series, sitting down at the keys to discuss the meaning behind the Baltimore, Maryland native’s brand new Salaam Remi (Nas, Amy Winehouse) produced single “Cold Summer”; the title track from his forthcoming debut album, due for release in December.

The song is dedicated to his ex-girlfriend, he reveals. “The world was ours. That’s the first lyric of the song. That’s how I felt. I felt like when me and my girl were together we had everything, everything was wonderful” he says. “I know everyone has been through that before.”
